Re-powered in summer of 2003 with twin 240 HP Yanmar Turbocharged Diesels, this boat is fast and economical. There are 72 engine hours since the re-power. Engines are located nearly amidship, allowing for straight shaft drive through Borg-Warner Velvet Drive transmissions and dripless shaft seals.

With it's large, open cockpit, the Tiara 29 provides ample space for fishing, dive gear, and water toys. The full-height transom with transom door opening out to a full-width swim step (with built-in swim ladder) allows security and easy boarding. There is a hide-away bench seat in the transom as well. Generous and intelligent storage in watertight compartments keeps the cockpit neat and clean. The design team went the extra distance when specifying this boat.

The Tiara 29 boasts a well thought-out interior. A large Vee-Berth forward has halogen accent lighting as well as reading lights and a hatch to the foredeck. A large closet on the port side provides plenty of hanging storage. The starboard side dinnette knocks down to a real double by lifting the seatback to provide extra berth length. The galley is to port with three drawers and a large storage compartment below the sink, and additional storage above. An enclosed head compartment with opening port, shower and Par electric head complete the interior.
