Deck and Hull
A good-looking mid-cabin cruiser with a roomy cockpit, low profile windshield and integrated swim platform with transom door, this was one of the larger trailerable boats of her type made in the last few years. The single level cockpit is considerably larger than most other boats her size and has seating for eight, including the helm seat, a transom bench seat, a smaller aft-facing seat, and an L-shaped lounger which can be converted to a larger sun pad. Most of the upholstery was redone in September of 2000.
Other features include a bimini, a boat cover that has never been used, and a full canvas and isinglass enclosure for the cockpit. There is an anchor, a CD player with cabin and cockpit speakers, a cockpit shower, a bait tank, two rodholders and a removable cockpit table and a Xintex carbon monoxide detector in the cabin.
The hull was last painted in October of 1999.
Engine and Mechanical
The large 7.4 litre Volvo Penta engine will move the boat at 40 to 45 knots, but when cruising at around 22 knots she will get two and a half miles per gallon. There is a fusible link fire extinguisher in the engine compartment, which also has gas-assist struts for easy access and room on either side of the engine for maintenance. There is good engine instrumentation, a compass, knot meter, depthmeter, VHF radio and a single throttle/shifter control.
The engine and outdrive have been meticuloulsy maintained. The boat is hauled and complete outdrive service is done at least once a year and records are available. The last two service dates were in March of 2000 and in February of 2001.
