Description

One step aboard the 376 and you will see a well designed cockpit by extending the coamings out to the gunnels and angling the backrest, this oval shaped cockpit boast more room, more comfort and the most user friendly console on the market today. Walk-Thru transom. Stainless steel stern rails with corner seats, a great place to sit and see the surroundings.

The Hunter 376 features a very spacious, airy and light interior with excellent ventilation from overhead hatches and opening ports. Two staterooms, the master stateroom aft and the forward quest stateroom with its own vanity, perfect for cruising couples or children. A dual access head and separate shower stall - see enclosed interior layout.

Yanmar 35 hp, fresh water cooled diesel engine in excellent condition-low hours.

The Hunter 376 uses the B&G rig which features a fractional rig. The original large roach main and 110% genoa are bagged and in storage after only three years of use. They were replaced with UK Technora full batten 7 1/2 .oz main (extra batten) and a UK Technora 110% genoa for more performance. The boat is equipped with a spnnaker.

Accommodations and Layout

Coming below, you will be impressed by the vast amount of natural lighting and ventilation offered throughout the 376. The teak and holly sole plus the warm interior wood work add to its overall ambience.

Accommodations for seven, two in the forward stateroom, two in the aft master stateroom, dinette converts to a double and one on the port salon settee. There is six foot, six inch headroom.

Coming down the companionway, the galley is to starboard and directly across to port is the dual access head (seperate entrances from the master stateroom and from the salon area)with it's separate shower stall. Aft by the galley is the entry to the aft queen berth stateroom with port and starboard cedar lined lockers plus cushioned single change settee.

Going forward to starboard from the galley to the salon area is the U-shaped settee with salon table that converts to a comfortable double berth. To port is the navigation station, then forward to a single settee/berth. Forward through the bulkhead is the quest stateroom with its own entry door and built in louvered bulkhead port for additional ventilation and opening up of the boat when stateroom is not in use. The stateroom has a large V-berth which sleeps two. Also there is a cedar lined hanging locker as well as a molded vanity with a mirror. The salon is equipped with two fans.

The well laid out galley is to starboard as you come down from the companionway and is equipped with:

Sails and Rigging

The standard rig is a direct descendent of the B&R design that successfully poweredd Hunter's Child around the world in a BOC race. Anodized fractional rig with swept back spreaders, high laminated chain plates and a unique grid system spread the rig loads evenly throughout the hull without the need for a backstay.

This rig arrangement allows a more powerful mainsail with a large roach and a smaller jib making sail handling much easier. All lines are lead to the cockpit area.
