A surprisingly spacious interior with a light and airy feeling that sleeps six. There is a v-berth forward which sleeps two, a dinette which converts to a double berth, and a large double berth under the cockpit. The head is enclosed and there is a small galley with a sink, tile counter and good storage below. There is a large ice chest under the dinette.

One of the nicest features of the many windows which provide excellent visibility when seated at the dinette. You can be inside and still see what is going on around you.

  • Apelco VHF
  • Tachmeter
  • Ritchie compass
  • Two new deep cycle battteries (Sept 2000)

Deck and Hull

Large cockpit with walk-through tansom, but with the steering seat in the closed position the cockpit has an enclosed, secure feel, and the wheel steering adds a lot of usable space. There is also a bimini over the cockpit which can be folded down, and which is actually out of the way when in the folded position.

The boat will float in 9 inches of water with the centerboard up. Draft is 5' 6" when the centerboard is down. The water ballast system can provide 1400 pounds of weight.

Sails and Rigging

Sloop rigged. The mast is designed to be raised and lowered by one person for bridges or trailering. The main is 151 square feet and the luff has been fitted with slides. The headsail is on a CDI flexible roller furler.

Engine and Mechanical

The 50 hp Honda outboard will easily move the boat at 15 knots, much faster than any other small sailboat. There are two fuel tanks under the cockit seats.
