Description
Sand Dollar is a well-kept 1998 Catalina 36 MKII with the open salon layout, 2 stateroom and single head. This vessel showing pride of ownership by its current owner. The MKII has the walk-through transom and powered by a low hour Universal 35 hp and a supported with a 100 Amp Balmar Alternator. The electronics at the helm are B&G Vulcan 9 Chart plotter, Autohelm ST4000, Knot, Depth, and Wind Speed. She has a furling 130% hood genoa and a Hood full battened Main. Stored below deck is a 110 genoa
The Catalina 36 was introduced in 1983. And through changes and upgrades the MKII hit the market in 1994 with her production year ending in 2006. Approx 2304 have been built! The Catalina 36 MKII is a very well-known and much-loved model. They have the reputation for solid construction, thoughtful interior amenities, and dependable performance under sail. A very successful model.

Included with vessel is a Yamaha 8HP two stroke in excellent condition and a 2022 Tobin Sport 10 Ft inflatable with high pressure inflatable floor (Costco).
Accommodations
She has a "L" shaped salon layout, with the dinette table folded up against the forward bulkhead. Passage down a very easy and sea going companionway places you in a very comfortable bright and airy salon. A full "U" shaped galley to port of companionway. Adjacent is a Nav Station. Starboard and aft lends access to the aft stateroom with an athwartships double berth with a hanging locker. Mid salon is a large "L" shape dinette area to port. Adjacent is a long settee midship and starboard with the center section that converts to a game table between two seats. Moving forward is a great storage cabinet with 3 deep drawers. Adjacent to port is a large "wet" head, with a Jabsco manual head. The head has dual access from salon and also from the forward stateroom. Forward is a spacious, well-ventilated V berth stateroom with a cedar lined hanging locker, drawers and storage bin are below berth.

Galley

Deck and Hull
One piece fiberglass hull with fiberglass deck in a white and grey two tone non-skid. The deck has a classic trunk cabin configuration - proven, comfortable and functional with handrails along top of safety.
