Description

"IT'S A START" is an excellent example of this very popular mid-size cruiser from Hunter Marine. Nicely equipped with good electronics, furling headsail and a full batten mainsail with a U/K Lazy Cradle sail cover/lazy jack system, recent bimini and partial dodger, two private cabin interior, 12Vdc refrigeration, LPG stove w/oven and more.Owned by the same fastidious owners since 2000, lightly sailed and professionally maintained, "IT'S A START" is well worth viewing for anyone looking for a great start!

Accommodations

Beginning at the bow is the forward cabin, a V-berth configuration, with drawer and hanging locker storage spaces. A louvered "window" in the main bulkhead allows for ventilation when the cabin door is closed, and further ventilation and daylight come in through the large overhead deck hatch. The salon has a straight bench settee to starboard, followed by the aft-facing chart table, and further aft is the head and shower compartment. Opposite the starboard settee is a C-shaped settee with dinette table. The dinette table lowers down to make into a large berth, and there is a cushion for the table top when lowered. Aft of the dinette area is an L-shaped galley, and further aft is the master cabin with large queen athwartship berth, hanging locker and additional storage. A warm and inviting interior with light blue cloth upholstery in the salon, the interior woods are solid teak and teak veneers, and the cabin sole is teak and holly.

Galley

The L-shaped galley is to port at the base of the companionway, with an LPG stove with oven outboard, microwave above it, then forward is a top loading refrigeration compartment, and then inboard is a assymentrical stainless steel double sink. There is aslo a very convenient recessed trash chute. Ample drawer and locker storage throughout the galley and generous counter space. The microwave works via shore power or the inverter, and the stove/oven have virtually never been used and is in like-new condition.
