Additional information

Manufacturer Provided Description

The Hunter Passage 450 was designed, engineered, and built to provide comfort and livability. The spacious salon is both well ventilated and well-lit with its many ports, hatches, and the Innovative Hunter windshield. Moving aft from the salon, the mid-cabin head is positioned to enhance access from the salon and cockpit areas. Corian counters, plentiful storage, and an easy-to-clean finish makes the head practical and good looking. The owner's suite offers superb accommodations in an expansive area. A real queen-size, innerspring mattress adorns the master berth while a huge amount of hanging lockers and shelving provide storage. The combination shower and bathtub lie behind the custom shower door. There is also a desk - computer station. Forward is the guest stateroom with a full-size double berth and a full set of drawers and hanging lockers, plus a private (electric) head with shower. The fully equipped galley suits extended cruising or living aboard. Wide Corian fiddled counters provide plenty of prep space area. There is also a dual opening refrigerator, twin stainless sinks, top loading freezer, a convenient cutting board, gimbaled range and oven, and a microwave. Secure storage and non-slip flooring make cooking in a seaway safe and easy.

Vessel Walk through

Starting forward we find the guest head and shower unit which has a vanity on the port side with a large mirror and cabinet storage below, while the marine head is on the starboard side. Next aft is the guest cabin which has a double Pullman berth on the starboard side with a shelf above and outboard for the full length. On the port side is a vanity with cushioned seat followed by storage cabinets. Next aft, the main salon starts on the port side with the entertainment center above a storage cabinet followed by a straight settee upholstered in soft, cream leather. Opposite and starboard is the dining area with a c-shaped settee and centerline seat, both also upholstered in cream leather, around a teak table that lowers to make a third double berth, if needed. There is a wide shelf behind both settees. Aft of the dining area is the navigation station which features a large, forward-facing chart table with a seat. Opposite and on the port side, past the companionway steps, which curve offset to the port, is the u-shaped galley. This starts with the double stainless steel sinks forward and inboard, facing the companionway, and have a storage cabinet below. Along the aft wall is the refrigeration unit, which is both top and side opening, with a Corian countertop and cabinets above.  The gimbaled, stainless steel propane stove and oven are forward of this and outboard. Most forward in the galley and outboard is a food prep area with a wide Corian work surface above drawer and cabinet storage with more storage cabinets above. Most aft is the very spacious master stateroom. It features a queen-sized berth, slightly offset to port from the centerline which allows easy access from three sides. Storage cabinets line the port side of the berth. There is a small L-shaped settee to starboard of the berth, upholstered with more cream leather and a vanity at the end. A full-length locker forward of the vanity offers of hanging storage and most forward is the entrance to the ensuite head and sink area. Most forward on the port side is a separate tub and shower unit followed by hanging lockers just forward of the berth. Thoughtful design features abound in this interior: wraparound windows that flood the large salon with natural light, a quasi-spiral companionway, soft cream leather upholstery throughout, a very efficient galley with heaps of storage, a huge master stateroom with separate tub and shower, top-quality teak throughout - the list goes on and on. This all combines into an exceptionally beautiful and comfortable interior.

Galley

The huge U-shaped galley is a cook's delight with Corian counters, double stainless steel sinks, abundant storage, built-in trash container and a large rectangular open-topped basin beneath the companionway steps with drain for wet clothing that can double as an open topped cooler.
