2000 Albin Tournament Express

A true sportfisher known for its rugged construction and traditional fishing design with a modified deep-V hull and full pilothouse enclosure with a sliding glass door. It is powered by a 300 HP Yanmar diesel engine with approximately 450 hrs and has a crusing speed of 17 knots and a top speed of 21 knots. There is a Vetus bow thruster, autopilot, sixteen mile radar and GPS chartplotter/fishfinder. A bait tank and fish wells are built into the transom plus two below-deck fish lockers. New bottom paint in October of 2004.

Entering the boat from the cockpit through the sliding glass door, there is a full helm on the starboard side and a First Mate's chair on the port side. The windows are all around the helm area and are quite large with great 360 degree visibility. The helm is weather enclosed with a big sliding glass door on the stern side with it’s own glass window. All the window glass is tinted for glare with a light green tint. Headroom is about 6’6” and there is a chart table in front of the First Mate's chair with a built-in chart light.

Going forward down two steps into the galley/dinette area the head is on the starboard side behind a closed door. The head has a toilet, sink, hot and cold shower, and even a built-in medicine cabinet. On the port side tucked aft part way under the navigator seat is a double size aft quarter berth. Forward on the port side is the galley with a new refrigerator/freezer, single burner stove, new microwave, and stainless steel sink with an electric on-demand pump. Forward in the V-berth area is a four-man dinette table that converts into a full width double bed.

The engine is a 300 HP Yanmar diesel with approximately 450 hours. The engine is fresh water cooled with a velvet V-drive. The engine looks very clean and well maintained with excellent access to the engine compartment through the top hinged access hatch. There is good access to the three bilges through the three access doors in the various floor hatches. Other features include a Vetus Bow Thruster with a joy stick control, hydraulic steering and Lenco trim tabs.
With a fuel capacity of 132 gallons and a consumption rate of 3 mpg the boat has a cruising range of approximately 400 nautical miles.
