Accommodations
The Jeanneau 43 DS was awarded the "TOP TEN NEW Designs" by SAIL Magazine when she was introduced in 2001. The Jeanneau 43 DS has many options and features you will only find with Jeanneau, for example a panoramic view of the outside, beautiful varnished teak interior, elegant upholstery and much more.
The Jeanneau 43DS has a wonderful open & airy interior, perfect for northwest cruising. As you descend the companionway the first impression is warm teak wood flooded with daylight through the large windows.
The L-shaped galley is to starboard of the companionway. The settee is forward of the galley, with abundant storage beneath. Opposite the the galley is the aft head with a full stall shower. Forward is the navigation station and a corner seat. There is much storage at the nav and behind the starboard seating area.
The queen centerline master stateroom is aft. There is his/hers storage on port & starboard. Private access to the aft head is provided from the stateroom.
The guest stateroom is forward, with a private in suite head. There is a sit-down vanity and large hanging locker in the forward stateroom. The interior woodwork is teak.

Galley The 43DS has a large L-shape galley. There are seperate refrigerater and ice-box compartments. The frig/icebox compartment has a top load access, 2-burner stove & oven is propane. The microwave is operable underway by use of the 3000w power inverter. Double stainless sink has hot & cold pressure water. Abundant storage is found under counter, above counter and under the cabin sole in provided bins. A great galley!

Sails & Rigging
The NEW 135% genoa is on a Profurl jib furling system. The NEW mainsail is furled in a Sparcraft in-mast furling system. A Sparcraft vang supports the boom. On the cabin top are two Harken ST 44 winches. The genoa winches are Harken 48 2 speed winches. A jib halyard is led aft to the cabin top clutch stoppers. The spare original sails are still in good condition.
