Description
This Clean Albin 28 Tournament Edition has an enclosed pilothouse with a sliding back door to close off the pilothouse from the elements. She sleeps 3 in a forward berth and a quarter berth. There is a private head compartment with a sink and mirror, a marine toilet, and an ensuite shower. A small galley to port offers a 2 burner stove, a sink, a fridge, and a microwave. She is powered by a Yanmar 315 hp diesel with 1800 hours. The single engine cruises around 15 kts with respectable fuel economy. A bow thruster helps in tight spots. Twin Raymarine E80 multifunction displays, Newer Simrad Autopilot, and a Lowrance VHF radio.
The seller has replaced the exhaust elbow and recently replaced the timing belt, idler pully, and checked valve settings. The dripless packing and three thru hull valves were replaced last month.
A RECENT MECHANICAL INSPECTION CAME BACK WITH AN OIL SAMPLE WITH HIGH METALS INDICATING POSSIBLE ENGINE CONCERNS. SUBSEQUENT SEA TRIALS SHOW THE BOAT AT 4000/ RPM AT 23KTS WIDE OPEN THROTTLE. THE ENGINE RUNS SMOOTH AND QUIET AND DOES NOT OVERHEAT OR SMOKE EXCESSIVELY. THE SELLER HAS PERFORMED 3 OIL SAMPLES. A COPY OF THE OIL SAMPLE HISTORY IS LISTED IN THE ADVERTISING. THE SELLER IS LETTING THE BOAT GO WELL UNDER MARKET SO IF AN ENGINE PROBLEM EXISTS THE NEW OWNER HAS SOME ROOM TO REMEDY THE SITUATION IF NEEDED.
