The Compton 33 hull and skegs are molded in one piece. The outer skin of Ferro UltraO SuperShield gelcoat backed by vinylester resin is one of the finest exterior hull protection available in the marine industry today. Foam-cored hull and sides, coupled with highest quaility bi-directional FRB materials form an extremely strong and rigid structure. The hull center line, keel areas and lower end of the rudder skegs are solid glass. 

The hull, skegs, engine beds, stringers and main bulkheads are entirely wood free, eliminating the risk of rotting and decomposition inside wood-filled engine beds.

Cabin tops, side decks and cockpit area are molded as a one piece unit. Ferro UltraO SuperShield gelcoat backed by vinylester resin and combination of bi-directional and uni-directional FRP fabrics over Airlite DS high-density foam core are used throughout.

Areas around gunwale and comings are solid FRP.

Hull to deck joint is a "coffee can lid" overlapping joint, which is bonded and mechanically fastened to the hull. 

The designer and co-founder is Terry Compton. Terry is no novice he has had 40 years of experience in the marine industry. His crew an average of 14 years of boat building experience.

Compton has been heavily involved in thousands of yacht designs, including Solaris and many other production catamarans

In 2002, Compton started his own boat building company using his own designs, and intent on producing the best vessel in its class.

Terry Compton was chief designer for Albin Marine. The Compton 33 is a sedan-style power yacht somewhat like a East Coast picnic boat. It is however, a lot more than that.  The Compton 33 is designed for deep water cruising, with flared bow to deflect water, and provide a dry ride, and wide chines to help provide quick and efficient lift of the hull onto a plane.

In the Compton 33 Terry Compton achieved what he intended certainly one of the best vessels in its class.

A contemporary salon with its panoramic curved glass front windows, tasteful joinery work and teak & holly sole is a truly great place to enjoy quality time.

Salon features a central helm position flanked on port side by the access to forward accommodations and large L-shaped sofa. On the starboard side by the galley.

The helm station has been designed to accommodate the latest navigation equipment as well as the engine instruments. Main electrical panel to starboard is easily reached by seated helmsman or crew. Precision stainless steel single lever engine controls.

Smart design idea is the movable table with small table top or change out to larger top.

In the Galley area the crew seat at forward end of the galley adjacent to helm seat folds away to provide increased counter space.

Owners cabin has a feeling of elegant practicality. Varnished cherry wood door opens into a spacious cabin offering a queen-sized berth, lounge seat, hanging locker and drawers.

Hull sides above the berth level are embellished with tasteful cherry wood slats, giving the cabin an inviting and warm feel. A flip-down TV/DVD player is under the deck overhang.

Guest cabin a cherry wood and laminate door opens into compact guest cabin which sleeps two. The upper berth measures 80"X30" and the lower 80"X28". Lockers under lower berth and a small clothes hanging area. Two portholes and ventilation hatch.

Head compartment is fully molded, seamless FRP surfaces for easy cleaning.

Separate Shower, no more calling for someone to pass a towel. A smart idea is a flip-down seat and a dry towel/robe locker incorporated into the design.

Adjustable controls with 6' flexi-shower hose and spray head.

6'6" headroom and ample shoulder room.

Automatic sump drain under the non-skid molded shower base. 

Approximately 70sq. ft.of cockpit space, plus the 5' 9" long bench seat across the rear of the cockpit.

The port side locker is used for a custom feature Stow-Away Dingy.
