The wide hull caries the beam aft, keeping it stable while providing the space to make it roomy and comfortable with lots of storage space below decks and topsides. The hull has a special "reflex" feature near the transom that minimizes drag allowing the boat to slip through the water effortlessly. The 5'4" deep reverse "L" lead bulb keel gets the maximum amount of weight down to keep the boat on it's feet in a big breeze.

Down below, the galley is loaded with conveniences. It features refrigeration, propane stove, Corian countertops & all the expected cabinets, and storage beneath the deep S/S sink.

Two private staterooms with plenty of storage can handle family or friends. The spacious salon offers plenty of room to dine and entertain. Rich fabric, spay lacquered teak furniture and bulkheads, storage and even a cedar-lined hanging locker add to the list of "Big Boat" amenities.

The head compartment features a shower, opening port, cabinet vanity with storage below and two mirrors that fold down exposing more storage space. There is a door from the head that gives good engine access from the starboard side.

Again the wide beam provides plenty of space. Two deck hatches, two fixed ports and three opening ports create an open, airy feeling. The dinette seats five and easily converts to a berth when needed. Outboard storage is everywhere. The opening Nav table provides space for a chartbook. The soft "whisper" headliner saves hundred of pounds in the deck construction and is also attractive.

The aft stateroom features plenty of space and storage with a cedar-lined locker, reading lamps, 110-volt outlets and one 12-volt receptacle, and a fixed port & opening port for light and ventilation. There is also a door for engine access.

Above decks you'll see a huge cockpit that allows you to move around even under sail. A custom console houses the rack & pinion steering, electronics, engine controls and drink holders.

The aft cabin features a large double berth, shelving along the bulkhead, opening screened port, large window, a large hanging locker and total privacy is provided with a teak door. The spacious interior has over 6 foot headroom, teak and holly sole, salon with L-shaped settee to starboard, additional seating along with the L-shaped galley are located to port. The navigation station is to aft starboard with an enclosed head compartment that follows aft. The enclosed head compartment features a manual flush Jabsco toilet, marine sink with hot/cold pressurized water and a retractable shower head. Corian counter top, shelving with two mirrored doors, opening port with screen and teak door for total privacy. The head on "Nordic Son" also features an access door for the engine.
