2006 Beneteau 473

This boat shows in TOP cosmetic condition! On the last survey that was completed in Nov of 2014, the surveyors remarks in regards to general appearance and housekeeping was "Bristol" 

The Beneteau 473, designed by Groupe Finot, was named "Boat of the Year" by Cruising World Magazine when introduced to the US market in 2001. In the 473, Group Finot whom has extensive experience in building some of the world’s most successful offshore racing yachts redefined the sailing world's notion of the performance cruiser concept... speed, comfort, simplicity, and of course beauty are all words that come to mind in describing the Beneteau 473. She has an easily driven hull with a narrow entry, a beam that carries all the way aft which provides a stiff, stable ride and as a bonus offers an  interior volume equal to that found on boats 10 feet larger just a decade before. The Beneteau 473 is equally at home on a passage to Hawaii, day sailing with the family or entertaining with friends dockside.

This boat is the popular three cabin layout and appears to have been very well cared for by her knowledgeable owner and is loaded with equipment including a full suite of Raymarine electronics, bow thruster, electric winches, Air/Heat, Solar panels, RIB dinghy/outboard, full canvas including a NEW Custom Bimini and Dodger with Strataglass (currently being made June 2018) and much, much more!

Accommodations

THREE CABIN VERSION
This is a beautiful example of a 3 cabin Beneteau 473. One of Beneteau's most popular designs.She has a centerline queen bed in the forward master stateroom with seperate head/shower stall. The boat has absolutely no "head tank" odor due to the upgraded fresh water electric heads. Interior is spotless with gleaming floors and woodwork. The boat is stylishly decorated and outfitted with every convenience and comfort, giving it a luxurious megayacht feel not found in her contemporaries.

Vessel Walk Through

Large cockpit can be accessed from aft swim platform or wide side decks. You will appreciate the easy walk-a-round space and uncluttered feel of this cockpit. The twin Wheel design allows for easy access to the swim platform and movement from the helm to the forward section of the cockpit.

Upon entering the vessel, you will be amazed at her spaciousness, and the quality cherry woodwork which is in IMACCULATE condition! She is very bright and airy with her forward facing fixed windows, and numerous opening hatches and ports.

At foot of the main companionway is the L-shaped Galley to Starboard, and Aft Head to Port. The Galley is very spacious, with abundant storage lockers and large separate refrigerator & freezer. Aft of the Galley is Starboard Guest stateroom, and aft of the head is the Port Guest Stateroom with private access to aft head.

Forward of the Galley - on Starboard side is the U-shaped dinette plus optional opposed seating. Opposite to Port is a full size settee. This becomes a complete entertainment center with a flat screen TV, DVD player and 10 CD stereo system. There is ample room for lounging, reading, or gathering with friends.

The Master Stateroom is forward w/private ensuite head & shower. This is truly a "Suite". The queen centerline berth is comfortable, and easy to access, and there is also a small comfortable Settee to Port side perfect for changing while underway. The Stateroom is quite large with an abundance of natural light and ventilation from the 4 opening hatches and side ports, plenty of floor space for moving about, and the head will please the most discriminating buyer.

Galley

Large L-Shaped Galley is located to Starboard at the foot of companionway and has been very well designed making it comfortable for preparing meals both dockside and while underway. The galley has extensive counter space and storage compartments that will be sure to indulge any culinary delights!

Cockpit

Cockpit is extremely large with easy movement. There are 2 long settees port & Stbd, and an opening cherry wood table in the center, Table can be opened to one side only, or both sides. Aft are twin steering helms with electronics at each helm. A sugar scoop transom is aft with comfortable swim platform. There are large storage lacerates Port & Strbd, as well as storage in the swim platform. A Hot/Cold shower is aft. There is a separate propane storage locker with room for 2 tanks. Dual 30 AMP receptacles for shore power is aft.

The Cockpit has a brand new (currently being made June 2018) full custom Bimini top and dodger system. Bimini has over sized frame supports and full custom Sunbrella cockpit cushions.
