Description

The seller has decided to move on so all reasonable offers will be seriously considered.

The following was just completed in April 2019: New bottom paint, New props installed on June 3 , 2019, Complete service of both engines and genset including all cooling fluids, Stabilizers serviced, water maker serviced, AC unit serviced. This yacht is ready to travel to Mexico or Alaska.

DeFever yachts are known for their robust construction, seaworthy designs and exquisite interior finishes. "NUTTY BRUNETTE" is a stunning example of the very sought after DeFever 50 ft cockpit motor yacht. The interior Living Space on this yacht is just outstanding and between the salon and the sundeck this yacht will feel like a Plus 60 Footer. Fully equipped for cruising Mexico and the Pacific Northwest or beyond with stabilizers, low hour Caterpillar C7 Diesels, Bow thruster, 12.5 KW Generator and Full electronics.  She has all the amenities for extended cruising including Water maker, Heat and Air Conditioning, Washer/Dryer and Hard Bottom RIB with 40 HP outboard.

Recent extensive maintenance to all mechanical systems make her ready to depart on the new owner's next adventure.

Seldom do you find a yacht in this size range which has as much usable exterior space as the DeFever 50 Cockpit. The aft deck is full width and suitable for deck furniture and entertaining quests. Above on the sundeck hardtop is ample space for a sizable dinghy and davit rig. The flybridge has seating for five plus two day berths, all with storage below. The deck space is generous with wide side decks and a large foredeck. On the DeFever 50 Cockpit you will find top quality deck hardware and construction.

Molded non-skid decks along with fiberglass window framed/doors and stainless steel handrails allow for more cruising time and less maintenance. Still the DeFever has enough exterior teak trim to show her true trawler heritage. As with many of Arthur DeFever designed hulls, the 50 Cockpit has a fine entry and a deep forefoot.

The solid fiberglass hull is hand laid and below is a full enough keel which provides protection to the heavy duty running gear. All of these attributes make for an excellent offshore, long-range cruising yacht.

For the cruising which desires a lower cockpit the 50 offers a five feet space which is great for the occasional fisherman or those wanting easier access to the water. This space also has a wonderful lazarette storage area and space for optional tankage.

Once inside you'll be astonished at the room and elegance of furnishings, from the forward stateroom with adjacent full bath, sleeping two, to the master stateroom aft with a king size walk-around bed and private bath with full size shower.Spacious cabinets and hanging lockers provide ample storage along with a large utility room for the washer and dryer. At the helmsman's station in the salon, instrumentation is duplicated from the bridge for foul-weather cruising ro to cruise in air-conditioned comfort. The console overhead, designed to accept your choice of equipment, is large enough for all necessary electronics with chart storage and navigation area conveniently close. The efficient galley doesn't lack the amenities for shore side living, with Sub-Zero side by side refrigerator-freezer, double sink, three burner electric range and oven, and enough teak cabinets above and below Grant counter tops to stock the galley for long range cruises. Cabin soles, paneling and other cabinetry throughout are all of hand rubbed teak.

Love the photo upgrade love the bold spacious upgrade I like to tweak this paragraph. I'd like to  change where it says enough space for a for a good size dinghy, to the large upper deck space Houses a thirteen foot  AB Tender  with a powerful 40 horse Yamaha clean burn outboard and 1000 pound capacity Davit. The Nutty Brunette is furnished with Deck furniture to allow relaxing out side comfort and entertaining.
