Accommodations and Layout
Large cockpit with tiller steering and all lines led aft to cockpit. Lazy jacks, simple two-line reefing system, optional Hoyt jib boom with extender, roller furling jib, classic sail plan with no winches required.
Deck & Hull Construction
- Hull & Deck molded with End Grain Balsa, E-Glass biaxial glass fabrics and polyester and vinylester resins.
- Ten Year Blister Warranty
- Hull and Deck molded with White Gelcoat, hull has 1/4" gold colored recessed cove stripe
- Boot top choice of color from standard color chart
- Hull to deck flange joint bonded with plexus glue
- Manual cockpit bilge pump operable from helm
Steering
- GRP rudder with stainless steel tube shaft and internal stainless steel tangs
- Bearings are low maintenance synthetic material mounted in GRP carrier tube
- Balanced spade rudder with semi-elliptical profile and low drag sections
- Tiller is laminated teak with extension
- Rudder head is stainless steel
Keel
- High Efficiency lead bulb keel
- Approximate weight 790 lbs. bedded to keel stub with epoxy
- Antimony added to lead for stiffness
- 3 x 3/4" 316 stainless steel bolts
- Keel faired to hull and coated with primer
