The roomy salon has a comfortable L-shaped settee to starboard and two opposing leather recliners. A 26" flat panel TV and a Bose Stereo sound system provide entertainment. The salon opens up for fresh air with an aft door to the cockpit, a side door from the lower helm, sliding windows port and starboard and an opening center windshield. The galley is conveniently located on the same level, port side forward for ease in serving a party or for just the two of you.

Retire to a queen size bed (with innerspring mattress) in the master stateroom with an overhead deck hatch with screen and shade. Warm cherry wood lockers with cedar lined interiors are sized to meet your needs. The large head is accessible from the master and from the hallway and has a quiet-flush toilet and stall shower. The guest stateroom has twin beds and hanging locker.

Mainship is known for its easy access through the transom door, wide deck walkways for ease in handling the lines and the first company to use stairs instead of ladders to get to the bridge. The bridge is the largest in its class, seats eight in comfort and offers a Summer Kitchen on the aft deck of the flybridge. Many of our owners cook their evening meals there and enjoy watching the sun go down. Economy of operation and speed are also a hall mark of Mainship. With single electronic engine with 380 HP you can get 2-3 MPG at along at 7 or 8 knots, make some serious mileage at 13 -15 knots.

Arrivals and departures are made easy with bow and stern thrusters included on this boat.

The 40 Expedition is also available with twin 260 HP Yanmars, 380 HP Cummins or 440 HP Yanmar engine options.
