Tall Ship Mystic Whaler Finds New Home in Channel Islands Harbor

110-foot schooner "Mystic Whaler" sailing
Did you catch the teasers about the tall ship, Mystic Whaler, on the Seacoast Yachts Facebook and Instagram pages earlier this year? Well, the wait is almost over!

Yacht Brokers Bob Nahm of Seacoast Channel Islands, and Vicki Van Hook of Seacoast Santa Barbara, have been hard at work helping clients Roger and Sarah Chrisman acquire the 110-foot tall ship, Mystic Whaler. Built in 1967, this gorgeous vessel was retired from the windjammer trade in 1990. Rebuilt in 1995, it has provided tours and educational programs throughout New England for more than 25 years, and is now on its journey to continue its legacy on the West Coast!

Mystic Whaler is currently on the run toward its new home in Channel Islands Harbor, and as of writing, is off the coast of South Carolina. Soon, she will reach Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where she will be loaded on a ship carrier bound for California.
