Bob started sailing at age 5, attending sailing camps on Cape Cod and teaching sailing as a counselor for many summers. He also spent much time fishing on his father’s power boats in Montauk, NY. After a successful career in advertising data processing and as the CIO of a major advertising agency group, Bob retired in 2000 and spent several years cruising the Channel Islands with his wife and daughters. Bill is a native Californian from Long Beach where his family started him boating when he was four years old with his Naples Sabot in Alamitos Bay. He has been boating along the East Coast and into New England, as well as through the Caribbean. On the West Coast, he has been coastal cruising in California and into Mexico. Bill’s family has excelled in marathon speed waterskiing with his son being the Junior Boy’s National Champion and his daughter being the Girl’s National Champion, as well as being the Junior Ladies World Champion. He is proud of his children’s many accomplishments and shared love for the water.

Craig is a native Southern Californian that started boating in his early teens by way of the scuba diving industry. His first boat was a 12.5 AVON that Craig used for exploring the underwater gardens from Florida, Mexico and to our offshore Channel Islands. After a 14-year stint in his family’s Ventura county automotive dealerships, economic reality gave him the opportunity to re-enter his love of the marine world as the Oxnard store manager of Southern California’s largest Sea Ray dealer. In the preceding years, Craig had the good fortune to represent to Tri-County residents boat lines from Maxum, Sea Ray, Boston Whaler, Hunter, Beneteau, Silverton, C&C, Navigator, Jeanneau, Shamrock and most recently Catalina. Craig believes in giving back to his community. He has been a sheriff search-recovery diver, proctor for US Power Squadron public boating classes for many years and currently is a board member of the Tri-County BBB and Ventura County Boy Scouts of America. Craig and his wife Christy live on the water at Channel islands Harbor and relax by boating in their Hunter ALURA or the Boston Whaler DAUNTLESS.
I have been boating for 40 years around Channel Islands, both sail and power. Starting out in Sunfish and Sabots, my family later had a 32′ Luhrs that we fished and dove the local islands. At 15, I began commercial fishing, followed by tournament sport fishing, then later both local and long-distance offshore sailboat races. My wife and I lived aboard our first cruising sailboat from 1992 to 2001, also spending 2 years cruising it to Mexico, Marquises Islands, Tuomotus, Tahiti, French Polonaise, Tonga, New Zealand. We recently rented out our home and moved aboard our new 60′ ketch, preparing for what we hope to be a circumnavigation in the near future with our 2 children. Over 15 years of helping clients find their dream boats and selling when the time is right, I am fortunate to combine my personal love for boating with my profession.
